PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of easily retrieving, reproducing and editing images after photographing. SOLUTION: On the digital camera 2, a first memory card 16 and a second memory card 18 are mounted. Photographed image data are recorded in the second memory card 18 first as an image file. Thereafter, a CPU 50 reads a plurality of photographed image files photographed within a prescribed period from a recording medium 18 as an image group, selects one image file from the image group as a representative image file and defines the remaining image files as attached image files.
