PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent display device of a simple matrix drive, and to solve a problem wherein a recessed part is formed for a separator function of a drying material and the thickness is generated. SOLUTION: In this organic electroluminescent display device, a conductive circuit is formed in a spacing material for preventing contact between the drying material and an organic luminescent part, electric connection is performed inside a sealed closed space with this circuit, and a plurality of simple matrix drive are performed at one time in parallel.
