PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently attain diversity reception. SOLUTION: A wireless apparatus 4 performs transmission to other terminal by using an output signal of a detection circuit as a reference signal when each of a plurality of antennas 1 is in use. The wireless apparatus 4 receives a control signal Sc transmitted from the other terminal on the basis of the reference signal. A control section 6 controls a switch 2 to select the antenna 1 indicated by the control signal Sc. A receiver 3 processes the output signal of the detection circuit when the switch 2 selects the antenna 1 indicated by the control signal Sc and a transfer signal transmitted from the other terminal not via a base station for the reception diversity.
