PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high molecular temperature sensing element having a high thermistor B constant value, high responsiveness to a change in peripheral temperature and high heat impairment resistance and allowed to be used for the heat sensitive layer of a temperature sensing wire or the like of a planar warmer. SOLUTION: An inner layer electrode conductor 3 consisting of copper, copper alloy or the like, a heat sensitive layer 4 consisting of high molecular temperature sensing element resin, an outer layer electrode conductor 5 consisting of copper, copper alloy or the like, a barrier layer 6 formed by vertically attaching a polyester tape, and an insulating coat layer 7 formed by extruding polyvinyl chloride resin are successively formed around the outer periphery of a heat resisting core 2 such as glass fibers or polyester fibers to form a temperature sensing wire 1. The heat sensitive layer 4 is formed by a high molecular heat sensing element using copolymerized polyester resin as a base material and adding imidazolium salt to the base material as a conductivity application agent.
