PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maskant tool with which the inner diameter part in a member having no intention to be subjected to surface treatment can simply be masked at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the case of masking the inner diameter part 3a formed as a protruding boss 3 in a coupling member 2, an upper mold 5 of packing is seated on the upper end surface 3b of the protruding boss 3 and also, an upper mold 4 of a fastening tool is loosely inserted into the inner diameter part 3a of the protruding boss 3 and seated on the upper surface 3b as the piling state on the upper mold 5 of the packing. On the other hand, to the lower end surface 3c<SB>1</SB>of a flange 3c formed at the lower end of the protruding boss 3, a lower mold 7 of the fastening tool is abutted on the lower end surface 3c<SB>1</SB>through a lower mold 6 of the packing by screwing a male screw part 7b of the lower mold 7 into a screw hole 4a<SB>1</SB>of the upper mold 4 under piling state of the lower mold 6 of the packing onto the lower mold 7 of the fastening tool, and the interval between the upper mold 4 of the fastening tool and the lower mold 7 of the fastening tool is push-stuck.
