PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose an imaging element for reducing fixed pattern noise and the method. SOLUTION: The imaging element includes at least one of row line and a switching element which sets connection to one of at least two analog/digital converter block. At least one of the at least two of the analog/digital converter blocks can be connected to at least two rows of a plurality of unit pixels. All red and blue pixels of the active image element sensor arrangement, are processed by either one of the at least two analog/digital converter blocks. All green pixels of the active image element sensor arrangement are processed by other one of the at least two of analog/digital converter blocks.
