<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely true up a sheet end of a sheet object, to downsize a device and to simplify a structure. <P>SOLUTION: Air is blown from a fan 21b or 21e to a paper sheet dropping from a gripper of a pawl 4 travelling with a paper ejection chain 3 into a first paper ejection device 6. When dropping the paper sheet on the first paper ejection device 6, a shield plate 36 located on an escape position in an upper direction of an air intake side of the fan 21b or 21e is provided.
