<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reusing method of two-component developer by which a sanitary property and an environmental property are improved by eliminating waste developer and waste carrier to be generated at the time of replacing a developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 1 is constituted by incorporating at least a developing sleeve 3, a developing container 2, a developer replenishing mechanism to supply replenishing developer stored in a developer cartridge 5 in the developing container 2 and a surplus developer discharging mechanism to discharge surplus two-component developer in the developing container 2 to the outside of the developing device 1. Only a specified member constituting the developing device 1 is replaced with a new member in accordance with the number of image forming times of the developing device 1. The two-component developer stored in the developing device 1 before replacing the specified member is stored even in the developing device 1 after replacing the specified member, so that the two-component developer is used in an image forming apparatus again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
