SECURITY MODULE, LIMITED RECEIVER, LIMITED RECEIVING METHOD, AND LIMITED RECEIVING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a security module capable of reliably protecting contents right; a limited receiver; a limited receiving method; and a limited receiving program.

SOLUTION: A security module 5 receives encrypted contents obtained by encrypting contents and supplies the encrypted contents to a limited receiver 1 for performing only the limited decryption of the encrypted contents. The security module 5 is provided with: an external input part 13 for inputting information which constitutes judgement reference for judging whether a decrypting function is to be driven; a Kw decryption part 7 and a Ks decryption part 9 for obtaining decrypted information by decrypting the encrypted information transmitted from the transmission side; and a Ks output control judgment part 15 for collating these decrypted information with the input information inputted from the external input part 13 and judging whether a scramble key Ks obtained by encrypting the contents may be outputted.
