<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which enables a user to recognize its working state without misunderstanding. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus is constituted so that a warning message containing information indicating all generated warnings (such information as "000F" in which a value of each bit indicates the existence of generation of a specified warning) are displayed on an LCD20, and the information indicating all the generated warnings can be transmitted to a host apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
