<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system printing an object while maintaining an aspect ratio with setting different from a sheet standard and a margin defined by layout information by the use of the previously stored layout information. <P>SOLUTION: When a sheet standard and/or a margin is set such that the printing is executed on a sheet of a prescribed standard with no margin, a print target image wherein the object is magnified or reduced while maintaining the aspect ratio (length/width) and is laid out to the whole drawing area larger than the sheet is formed, and the formed print target image is printed (S160). When the sheet standard and/or the margin is set such that the printing is executed on the sheet of the prescribed standard with the margin, the print target image wherein the object is magnified or reduced while maintaining the aspect ratio and is laid out to the drawing area smaller than the sheet is formed, and the formed print target image is printed (S150). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
