<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element capable of preventing the sticking of stain to the surface of the optical element by forming a thin film. <P>SOLUTION: The optical element is provided with a fine structure formed on the surface of a light transmission plate 12 of a reflection preventing plate 10 and the fine structure is covered with a thin film of polymerization film of silane monomer, a thin film of polymerization of fluorine monomer or a thin film 14 made of titanium oxide having an anatase crystal structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
