<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored photosensitive composition for color filters which is free of staining on the composition and is free of uneven thickness of coating films. <P>SOLUTION: The colored photosensitive composition for the colored filters contains a photopolymerizable polymeric compound (1) having unsaturated double bonds, a photopolymerization initiator (2), an alkali-soluble resin (3), a polymerizable monomer or oligomer (4), a color material (5), and a solvent (6). The photopolymerizable polymeric compound having a carboxylic acid branched alkyl ester group and methacryloyl oxy group at its side chain and having an acid value of 10 to 300 mg KOH/g is used as the above (1) and/or (3).
