<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection body of which the manufacturing process is made simpler, mass-productivity is made superior and reflection characteristics are excellent, and to provide a method of manufacturing the body and a liquid crystal display device provided with the body. <P>SOLUTION: The reflection body is provided with: a heat applied embossed resin plate on one surface of which a plurality of recessed sections are formed by a heat application-type embossing process; and a reflection film on which a plurality of opening sections is provided and which is stacked on the surface where the recessed sections are formed. For manufacturing of the reflection body, water-based ink is applied patternwise by transferring or by printing over the surface where the recessed sections are formed, a reflection film material is vapor deposited over the above surface in a reduced pressure atmosphere, the ink is washed and removed, the reflection film material that is vapor deposited on the ink is removed and the opening sections are formed having a pattern corresponding to the ink-applied portion to realize the reflection film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
