<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the starting property of a swash plate at starting, while retaining the demisting performance. <P>SOLUTION: A displacement control means 60 that controls the inclination of the swash plate 26 comprises a pressure introduction passage 62 introducing the pressure of a discharge chamber 8 into a crank chamber 5, a displacement control valve 65 controlling the opening/closing of the pressure introduction passage, and pressure derivation passages deriving the pressure in the crank chamber into a suction chamber 7. The pressure derivation passages consist of a first pressure derivation passage 61 with a fixed throttle 64 which is normally opened and a second pressure derivation passage 68 with an opening/closing valve 70. The opening/closing valve 70, provided midway along the pressure introduction passage 62 in the form of a passage change-over valve, opens the second pressure derivation passage 68 by operating with the pressure of the upstream part of the pressure introduction passage 62 when the displacement control valve 65 is closed, and closes the second pressure derivation passage 68 with a spring force when the displacement control valve 65 is open. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
