<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely perform maintenance operations and the like of a load for high voltage without hindrance. <P>SOLUTION: In this power feeding device for a vehicle, a load for high voltage is connected with a high voltage battery 12, and a voltage converter 20 including a semiconductor switching element 30 is interposed between the battery 20 and a low voltage battery 14. For the purpose of performing the maintenance operations and the like of the load for high voltage, a circuit breaker 16 for breaking energization is installed between the high voltage battery 14 and the load for high voltage. Also, a relay switch 40 for opening/closing a path is installed in the middle of the path reaching from the voltage converter 20 to the load for the high voltage. The relay switch 40 is opened, so as to prevent reverse flow of current toward the load for the high voltage through a parasite element of a semiconductor switching element 30 from the low voltage battery 19 when the circuit breaker 16 is operated to be broken. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
