<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a completely new gas washer in which ultrasonic oscillation wave of a cavitation ultrasonic wave spontaneously generated from operation of an underwater blower in water is made to assist a gas-liquid contact cleaning effect. <P>SOLUTION: A so-called under water blower ultrasonic gas washer has a structure in which a new underwater blower treated by water-tight waterproof treatment is provided in a cleaning liquid tank and a bifurcated pipe with a suction amount adjusting valve is additionally provided for a purpose of simultaneous mixing and sucking of a gas to be cleaned and a cleaning liquid on a suction inlet of the underwater blower. In this gas washer, the gas to be cleaned and the cleaning liquid simultaneously sucked from the bifurcated pipe are agitated and mixed by a high speed rotation of an impeller of the blower to generate an ultrasonic wave of approximately 16-20 kHz caused by a pump cavitation phenomenon which generates a large amount of air bubbles in the blower. A high gas-liquid contact cleaning effect caused by the ultrasonic oscillation wave of the ultrasonic energy is obtained, and at the same time, a cleaned gas is jetted in the liquid by an exhausting pressure of the blower, and the gas spontaneously floating up from the liquid surface is vent or recovered by a duct. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
