PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a data file in such a manner as easily discriminating the file contents. SOLUTION: This data file storage device is provided with a photographing function by a camera part 10 and a schedule management function for managing a schedule and, when an image file photographed by the camera part 10 is stored in an image file storage area 33, searches schedule data agreed with a file creation date/time of the image file among the whole schedule data prestored in the schedule storage area 32. When there is schedule data met with the file creation date/time, this device obtains schedule character data expressing the contents of the schedule, sets a character row of the schedule character data to its file name and/or its folder name, or stores the data as EXIF (EXchangeable Image File) data.
