PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device with an electronic mail function in which it is not necessary to read an original again for resending an undelivered mail. SOLUTION: A main control part 1 stores image data resulting from reading an original document of a transmitted mail in an image memory 8 together with the subject of that mail at least and when an undelivered mail is detected in a mailbox, the subject of the undelivered mail is compared with the subject stored in the image memory 8. When matching, namely, the image data resulting from reading the original document of the undelivered mail are stored in the image memory 8, the image data are utilized to resend the mail.
