PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device for reducing the burden of internal processing by determining a correction amount of a low sensitivity part from information of a high sensitivity part in using a sensitivity difference between two light sensitive elements with different sensitivity to realize a wide dynamic range. SOLUTION: A black level correction value of a sub-light-sensitive pixel is calculated by multiplying a black level correction value of a main light-sensitive pixel by an area ratio of a cell area of the main light-sensitive pixel to a cell area of the sub-light-sensitive pixel. To determine the black level correction value of the sub-light-sensitive pixel, there is no need to perform fetching control of an image pickup signal from the sub-light-sensitive pixel belonging to an OP part. In addition, if the fetching control of the image pickup signal is not performed from the sub-light-sensitive pixel in the OP part, a processing system may be stopped for a corresponding period of time.
