PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and easily enable adjustment of the height of a turntable and practically without being affected by changing tilt, in an optical disc device. SOLUTION: The device is constituted with a spindle motor, to which revolution axis the turntable is attached, a sub-chassis on which the spindle motor is fixed, a base chassis on which a guiding axis for guiding an optical pickup to move along a direction toward a diameter of the optical disc is attached, and an adjustment means for adjusting tilt angles of the sub-chassis toward a moving direction of the optical pickup and the moving direction perpendicular to this moving direction facing the base chassis. A boss, pressed into the revolution axis for the spindle motor or a male screw part, is formed in the revolution axis for the spindle motor, and a female screw part threadably mounted on this male screw is formed in the central hole for the turntable. The height for the turntable is adjusted, by rotating the turntable around the revolution axis of the spindle motor, mutually in opposite directions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
