PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transfer rate by reducing a delay when transferring information in response to a wait signal from information recording means at the time of information transfer of the central processing means and the information recording means. SOLUTION: A gate array 4 capable of recording output of the wait signal only when the wait signal 15 is in effective state at the time of change of a read/write signal 12 from effective state to ineffective state and selectively connecting/disconnecting the wait signal 15 to a CPU 1 is provided between the CPU 1 and a memory card 3. First, the wait signal 15 to the CPU 1 is disconnected for data transfer, and a delay occurred when transferring information corresponding to the wait signal is eliminated and the transfer rate is improved. After transfer, if it is found that the gate array 4 detected the wait signal during the transfer, the transfer condition is changed and transfer is re-implemented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
