PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of reducing the manufacturing cost by dispensing with degreasing and welding processes, and free from the leakage. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 1 comprises two tanks 2 mounted approximately in parallel with each other and having a plurality of tube inserting ports 21 at sides opposite to each other, a plurality of tubes 3 mounted between the tanks 2 by being inserted into the tube inserting ports 21, and communicated to the tanks 2, and a separator 6 inserted into a slit 5 formed on one of the tanks 2, and partitioning a space in the tank 2 into a plurality of spaces 2a, 2b.
