PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear type power unit capable of reducing a co-rotating phenomenon and steadily rotating a supporting body. SOLUTION: The planetary gear type power unit comprises an input shaft 61 mounting a sun gear 62, an output shaft 65 coaxially mounting on the input shaft 61 and rotatably mounting on a casing 17, the supporting body 64 mounting on the output shaft 65, a plurality of planetary gears 63 rotatably mounting on the supporting body 64 and engaged with the sun gear 62, a ring gear 66 rotatably mounting on the casing 17 in order to engage with the planetary gears 63, and a braking means 68 stopping rotation of the ring gear 66 or permitting rotation the ring gear 66. A pulley body 87 is mounted on the output shaft 65 or the supporting body 64, an approximately U-shaped elastic clip 88 is inserted into an outer peripheral groove 87a of the pulley body 87, and an end 88a of the elastic clip 88 is supported by the casing 17. frictional resistance of the supporting body compared with frictional resistance of the ring gear can be increased, and the co-rotating phenomenon can be reduced.
