PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sock having knitted area at the big toe side larger than that at the small toe side so as to fit the shape of the toe of foot, and hardly causing a reduction in foot comfort caused by a gore line positioned at the periphery of the toe part in plane view. SOLUTION: An instep-side knit and a sole-side knit are superposed so that the outer edges may be aligned, and base points are set on the center lines extending in the longitudinal direction from the heel parts to the toe parts of respective knits. Two or more continuous gore lines having different lengths are drawn from the base point of each of the instep-side knit and the sole-side knit at the toe parts of both the knits so as to be symmetrical in the view from the outside of the sock so as to make the area of the knit at the big toe side larger than that at the small toe side.
