PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin unit with simple structure capable of being operated at ease with no returning tension of a thread at drawing of the thread and at the use after drawing out and simply and quickly winding up the thread only by pushing a push type operation part. SOLUTION: The bobbin unit comprises a rotation drum 1 for winding the thread and turnably attached in a frame A; a thread taking out port 3 for taking out the thread 2 wound on the rotation drum 1; an operation part 6 for turning the rotation drum 1 in a thread winding direction; and a power transmission mechanism B for speed-increasing pushing action of the operation part and rotating the rotation drum 1 at high speed. It is formed such that the power transmission of the operation part 6 and the rotation drum 1 is released at non-operation of the operation part 6. When the rotation drum 1 is turned in a thread taking out direction, a brake means C for lightly braking the rotation drum 1 is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
