PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side frame structure for performing simplification or the like of a coupling structure of a side frame and preventing occurrence of electric corrosion by coupling of different kinds of metals. SOLUTION: The side frame structure comprises an opening end 13 formed at the front end of a side frame body 10 extendingly in the longitudinal direction of a car body, an engaging end 22 formed at the back end of the extending frame 20 and engaged with the opening end 13, a spacer 30 having an annular or substantially annular spacer body 31 interposed between the opening end 13 and the engaging end 22, and a fixing means 40 for fastening and fixing the opening end 13, the engaging end 22, and the spacer 30.
