PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle camera system capable of effectively utilizing communication band range in consideration of the number of cameras simultaneously transmitting and outputting of a picked-up image, and displaying the picked-up image of each camera in real time without delay. SOLUTION: In the in-vehicle camera system 1, a plurality of video image formats are switchably set up for respective cameras 5a to 5f. When the picked-up image is transmitted and outputted from respective cameras 5a to 5f through a communication line 7, the output formats of respective cameras 5a to 5f transmitted and outputted are switched and controlled to the one picked-up image in the plurality of video image formats set to the cameras 5a to 5f according to the number of the cameras 5a to 5f simultaneously transmitted and outputted, and the picked-up image is transmitted and outputted from the respective cameras 5a to 5f in the output format to be switched and controlled.
