PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly improve the machining speed of aerial discharge machining. SOLUTION: A vibration device is provided for providing at least one of a machining electrode and a machined object with vibration having a vibration amplitude approximate to a small discharge gap length during aerial discharge machining and a vibration frequency approximate to a discharge frequency of a ultrasonic frequency to be generated or more. A dependent impulse type discharge machining power source is provided for supplying discharge pulses having a frequency equal to or more than the frequency of vibration to be provided by the vibration device depending on the condition of the discharge gap.
