PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending die which has a wear resistance and hardly flies over by absorbing impact force even if the impact force greater than a permissible pressure resistance is exerted thereto and facilitates its manufacturing and additional processing. SOLUTION: The bending die 1 which bends a work by cooperation with a bending punch is characterized in that the bending die 1 is a metallic base material of a single material provided with V grooves and is heat treated to the extent of having toughness and thereafter a high-hardness hardened layer 3A provided with the wear resistance and buckling resistance is formed by surface treatment on the surface of the V grooves.
