The balloon implant (1) for insertion into a blood vessel (4), for the occlusion of aneurysms (5), has a balloon (9) which can be expanded of a fluid-permeable material and with a closure. The balloon material is a textile woven or knitted fabric, which has pores (14) at least in zones, and its interior (10) holds a clotting fluid (16) which can pass out through the pores. The balloon fabric incorporates metal filaments which can be detected by X-rays. The balloon implant is inserted and positioned by a catheter (3) which also fills it. |
