Ski gliding device (1) comprises two gliding boards (1a, 1b), each provided with a shoe holder (2). A rod (4) fits into a bearing arranged under each shoe holder so that it slides in the longitudinal direction. The two gliding boards pivot relative to the rod. An elastic centering device (7) holds each rod by spring force in a centered position so that the gliding boards move relative to each other only after the spring force is overcome. Two rod-like upward-curving rigid coupling bars (5, 6) connect the rods at their end sections. The coupling bars are connected to the ends of the rods via a hinge (8) with almost ball-and-socket joint-like properties. At least one further hinge (9) with almost ball-and-socket joint-like properties is arranged in the middle of the coupling bars. Independent claims are also included for alternative ski gliding devices.
