Device for a conveyor table, preferably a suction belt table (1), used for transporting sheet material in a sheet-fed rotary printing machine comprises one or more transport belts such as suction belts (2) loaded with suction which are driven continuously about the conveyor table, and a blowing device blowing air below the sheets (B) outside the guide region of the transport belts in the region of guide regions (5) of the conveyor table arranged laterally and parallel to the transport belts. A number of individually arranged ventilation openings (6) are provided at least in the guide regions on the outer side of the transport belts.
