<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the drive train of a vehicle from overheating and secure smooth control operation without increasing a data processing load at a control device. <P>SOLUTION: In case the drive train 10 is controlled to a standby state when a detecting temperature T obtained by a temperature sensor 25 for detecting the internal temperature of the control device 20 is increased to a value higher than a first reference temperature 1, a second reference temperature T2 lower than the first reference temperature T1 is set, and in case the detecting temperature T is increased to a value higher than the second reference temperature T2, a discrimination period t2 is set to a value shorter than a discrimination period t1 of temperature discrimination available in case a detection temperature T is lower than the second reference temperature T2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
