<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing an increase in loss accompanying fiber anchoring. <P>SOLUTION: Optical fibers 12-1 to 12-8 are lead out of an optical cable 10 and mutually bonded in a ribbon shape with an adhesive 40. The optical fibers 12-1 to 12-8 in the ribbon shape are run through a heat-fusion tube, which is run through a heat-shrinkage tube 26 together with a reinforcing material 28. The heat-shrinkage tube 26a is heated at about 130°C. The heat-shrinkage tube 26a shrinks to fix the optical fibers 12-1 to 12-8 together with the reinforcing material 28. An adhesive 40 is applied to the optical fibers 12-1 to 12-8 even outside the heat-shrinkage tube 26a having shrunk. The heat-shrinkage tube 26 is fixed to a pedestal 32 with an adhesive 30 and the pedestal 32 is fixed to a base plate 24 with screws 34.
