<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink which is excellent in the storage stability and develops a high print density and besides gives printed matters excellent in hue and in scratch resistance, and which, when used in inkjet recording, is also excellent in the print reliability in addition to the above characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink contains a water dispersion of polymer particles of the water-insoluble polymer having at the side chain a 20C or more alkyl group, and a hydrophobic dye. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
