<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a mobile robot that flash controls landmarks provided in a work space and autonomously moves knowing its position and to supply its autonomous travel system and method. <P>SOLUTION: The landmark (100) consist of many flashable light sources provided in a certain space. The landmark control module (300) flash controls the landmark light sources.
