<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a medical appliance for reforming a tissue. <P>SOLUTION: The device 700 comprises a first member 720 and a second member 722 constructed operable at a distant portion of a flexible instrument. The first member 720 has a tissue fixing device 730 consisting of two fixing parts 824a, 824b joined to each other via a flexible member 822. The first member 720 and the second member 722 take mutual action for placing the tissue fixing device 730 in the body of a patient.
