<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical disk which has satisfactory optical characteristics and prevents the occurrence of warpage when the optical disk is used. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical disk, a recording layer, an adhesive layer and a light transmission layer are successively layered on at least one surface of a supporting substrate, the thermal expansion ratio of the thermal expansion quantity in the uniaxial direction of the supporting substrate at 30 to 80°C to the thermal expansion quantity in the uniaxial direction of the light transmission layer at 30 to 80°C is in the range of 0.75 to 1.25 and the light transmission layer consists essentially of a thermoplastic resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
