<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing silage from sugarcane refuse, Sake (rice wine) lees, beer cakes at a low production cost, whereby the method is also useful for protection of environments. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the silage comprises mainly collecting and treating Sake lees B2, beer cakes B1, sugarcane refuse A1, transferring the treated materials to a fermentation facility 2, and then fermenting the transferred materials with yeast 3. Thereby, the fibers of the Sake lees B2, the beer cakes B1, the sugarcane refuse A1 are softened, and give the natural silage, after the fermentation is finished. One half or more of the sugarcane refuse comprises fibers, and the remaining part comprises sugar and water. The fibers are the main ingredient of the silage, and the sugar can provide calorie for livestock. Further, the Sake lees and the beer cakes contain crude proteins and minerals both of which are essential ingredients for the growth of the livestock. The sugarcane refuse is treated together with corn cores, pineapple cores, pineapple skin similarly as the above method to produce natural organic feed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
