IMAGE PROCESSING PROCEDURE DESIGN EXPERT SYSTEM HAVING FEATURE IN SAMPLE PREPARATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor and time required for preparing a sample.

SOLUTION: An area assigning information input means 23 inputs area assigning information for assigning a predetermined objective area 27 out of the whole area of an original image 11. A sample preparing means 14 extracts a sample pattern 12 from the objective area 27 assigned by the area assigning information input from the area assigning information input means 23 to prepare the sample 26 including the sample pattern 12. An image processing procedure designing means 25 constitutes a processing procedure for extracting a pattern similarly near to the sample pattern 12, based on the original image 11 and the sample 26. The labor and time required for preparing the sample 26 are reduced since the sample preparing means 14 extracts the sample pattern 12 from the objective area 27 by this manner.
