METHOD FOR INPUTTING DATA TO INFORMATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inputting terminating melody data to an information terminal by which the incoming tone melody data can easily be downloaded from a database computer.

SOLUTION: The method includes a step 1-2 of automatically downloading and storing a plurality of pieces of incoming tone melody data for promotion in a mobile telephone set in specified cycles from the database computer through a communication network, a step 1-4 of outputting one of the plurality of pieces of incoming tone melody data for promotion which are stored as a calling sound in specified order each time the mobile telephone set receives a calling signal from another telephone set, a step 1-6 of sending a use request signal for terminating melody data among pieces of outputted terminating melody data for promotion to the database computer when the terminating melody data are to be used, and a step 1-7 of receiving and storing the incoming tone melody data for which the use request signal is sent.
