<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for driving wheels reduced in weight and size, having a plastic bonding part having a sufficient strength even when a large moment load is applied, having a stem part enhanced in strength and having a durability. <P>SOLUTION: One 1a of the internal rolling surfaces of the rolling bearings 2 of a plurality of rows is formed into the outer periphery of a hub wheel 1, and the other 14a is formed into the outer periphery of an external joint member 14. The stem part 17 of the external joint member 14 is fitted in the hub wheel 1, and at the same time, an uneven part 5 which is hardened is formed on the inner diameter, and a fitting part 17b formed on the stem part 17 is expanded and made to bite into the uneven part 5. Thus, the hub wheel 1 and the external joint member 14 are integrally and plastic-combined for this bearing device for driven wheels. The plastic combined part is set to be a specified length, and also, a distance from a wheel attaching flange 4 to the tethering part A of the stem part 17 is kept to be 10 mm or lower.
