PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an operation needed for transcription easier. SOLUTION: A camera incorporated type video tape recorder (VTR) 3 recorded with an interview supplies AV data including interview contents to an information processor 1. The information processor reproduces the AV data, displays a moving picture and outputs voice from a head set microphone 2. A user wearing the head set microphone 2 repeats interview utterance contents. The user's voice is supplied to the information processor 1 from the head set microphone 2. The information processor 1 performs speech recognition of the user's voice and generates text data. The information processor 1 stores the generated text data associated with a time code included in the AV data, and displays the AV data. This invention is applicable to a personal computer.
