PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk unit for securely preventing a rotor from being come off at a low cost. SOLUTION: A leaf spring 26 is integrally provided with a protrusion 26a which is extended on an upper surface of a finger part 23a near to a spindle motor 6 and reaches an upper space 11 of a first flange part 9a of a cap shape rotor 9 when an optical pickup 20 is stopped at an innermost position of an optical disk M. A tip part of the protrusion 26a is bent in the direction for separating from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor 9 rotating in the direction of an arrow C. The flange part 9a is abutted on the tip part of the protrusion 26a of the leaf spring 26 even if the rotor 9 is floated when excess vibrations or an impact caused by a fall etc. are given to a disk unit 1.
