PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of stably producing a new high-quality conjugated false twist textured yarn excellent in coloring property, bulkiness and soft feeling, free from splashed pattern unevenness and exhibiting smooth surface touch feeling. SOLUTION: Drawing and false twisting of spun combined filament yarn obtained by carrying out combining treatment of two kinds of undrawn multifilament yarns obtained by spinning a polyester polymerized by using a reaction product of a titanium compound such as an alkyl titanate with a phosphorus compound such as phosphoric acid mono or di-ester as a polycondensation catalyst at 10,000-100,000 difference in spun yarn draft and having 0.02-0.05 difference in double refractive indexes and 70-200% difference in elongations are simultaneously carried out in 0.177-0.353 cN/dtex false twist tension and (15,000-30,000)/D<SP>1/2</SP>time/m number of false twist at 200-400°C false twist heater temperature by using a false twist machine in which a heat set heater of false twist is non-contact type.
