PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a simple, inexpensive, stable electrolyzer which supplies functional water with a stable metal ion concentration. SOLUTION: A stable electrolysis employing only a constant current circuit is realized by placing an anode 4 and a cathode 5 in water to be treated and installing a spring 8 that pushes the anode 4 toward the cathode 5 and an anode-fixing rib 7 which keeps the anode 4 from approaching the cathode 5 any further from a certain point to keep a constant distance between the anode 4 and the cathode 5.
