PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera and a shutter device constituted so that a shutter main body can surely perform the opening/closing action of an exposure optical path by preventing the rebound action of the shutter main body. SOLUTION: The digital camera 100 is equipped with a photographic lens 104, a camera body 102, the shutter main body 142, an actuator 144 for actuating the main body 142, and a movement restriction part 146 for restricting the movement of the main body 142 when the main body 142 is at a closing position. The camera 100 is constituted so that energy for action applied to the actuator 144 in an area where the main body 142 is near the closing position may be larger than that in an area where the main body 142 is near an opening position when the main body 142 moves from the opening position to the closing position.
