PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder, separately from a cup, that does not require an assembly for use, is excellent in heat insulation though made of thin paper, has an embossed shape retaining property, is good in absorbency, can be used for both hot and a cold beverages, has a small storage capacity per specified number, and is suitable for printing. SOLUTION: The cup holder 1 is made up of a cylinder forming section 2 and a joining section 3 and is formed of a mixed paper of a pulp and a synthetic fiber on which irregularities are formed by embossing, and is cylindrical, separately from the cup 4.
