The aim of the invention is to improve handling particularly of plastic parts having an unstable shape during storage, lacquering, tempering, cooling, etc. Said aim is achieved by a precision frame comprising at least one precision support that extends in one main direction and is provided with a bearing surface. Also disclosed is a method for producing a precision frame comprising a precision support which is cut from a disk, preferably by means of laser cutting.
